With the sun shining, Amy and Sam had the summer wedding everyone dreams of. On one of the hottest days of the year, the pair tied the knot at The Rabbit Hotel.
Summer weddings are always a favourite of mine to do, using bright colour pallettes that capture the season perfectly and Amy and Sam's wedding was no exception. Amy chose the colour pallette of pinks and peaches to stand out against her beautiful dress.
Amy chose a stunning colour palette comprised of soft pinks and warm peaches. This selection not only complemented the greenery of the summer landscape around them but also created a striking contrast against her beautiful dress. For the bridal bouquet we chose to make it up with peonies and garden roses. These flowers come in a range of sizes and colours, allowing us to make the perfect mix of light pinks, darker pinks and peachy/ orange colours. Amy didn't want a perfectly round bouquet, so I made it in an asymmetrical style to give that garden feel to it and create the most stunning bouquet for a beautiful bride.
The bridesmaid bouquets followed the theme of Amy's bouquet, just in smaller variations. The bouquets were the perfect accent to the hot pink bridesmaid dresses and the sun definitely made the bright colours the perfect pallette for a summer wedding. Along with the bridesmaids, the groom and groomsmen all wore a hot pink buttonhole to match the bridesmaid dresses. For their buttonholes I used spray roses, to create a nice, dainty accent to their suits. The attention to detail in the colour coordination was evident throughout all of the flowers, from the bouquets to the buttonholes, it created a beautiful visual for the couples most special day.
Thank you Amy and Sam for trusting me with your flowers.
