Clare and Stewart’s beautiful July wedding was definitely full of love, happiness and… flowers!!
From personal flowers to floral arches, Clare and Stewart wanted a day that was in full bloom.
When Clare came to speak to me about what her vision was, she said that she wanted the palette of soft pinks and creams with a touch of baby blue.
For Clare’s bridal bouquet, this colour palette was the perfect choice. Bringing a beautiful softness thatd in the bridesmaid dresses perfectly and the soft little touch of blue was the perfect addition to incorporate her mother's outfit. For the pink and cream pallette, I used roses, astilbe in cream and pink, spray roses, wax flower and for the touch of blue I used oxypetalum. This combination of flowers was a beautiful mix to create the most perfect round bridal bouquet. The bridesmaids all followed the same theme in smaller versions, fastening with baby pink rib
For Stewart and his groomsmen, they each got a buttonhole using the same soft pink spray roses that were in the bouquets, as well as a small touch of the oxypetalum blue. These were a lovely little addition to their suits, they stood out beautifully, tying in the colour palette seen through out the day.
Clare decided to go big for her church flowers, starting with a beautiful floral arch at the door. This was the first think her guests seen as they entered, already showing them how beautiful the day was going to be from their first impression. A floral arch is a perfect addition for outside of a venue and helps for the most amazing photos outside after the ceremony. This same arch was then dismantled and moved to their reception at Leighinmohr House, where it was used at the backdrop for their cake.
Inside the church had a beautiful long and low arrangement on the signing table, again following the same themes as the personal flowers. This arrangement was also moved to their reception where it was placed on the top table.
The church had beautifully large windows at the alter, we put two big pedestal arrangements on the windowsills which perfectly framed the scene of where they became husband and wife.
Thank you Clare and Stewart for trusting us with your flowers on such an important day.
