Bliain and Colin's wedding was a beautiful day that perfectly captured their love for one another.
Having their wedding in the old church within the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum, they really wanted to capture the old, rustic feel and have florals that complimented this.
To capture a very elegant, timeless feel with the flowers, they decided to use the colour pallete of whites and greens.
Using a combination of white roses, gyp, lisianthus and a mix of eucalyptus and other complimentary foliages, I was able to make their vision come to life.
Bliain and Colin's personal flowers included a buttonhole each, buttonholes for their groomsmen and page boy, handbag flowers for their mothers and flower girl bouquets for their beautiful flower girls. The grooms' buttonholes fit perfectly into the theme of whites and greens, however they requested that only theirs would include a pop of purple. The groomsmen, page boy and flower girls all had flowers in the elegant whites and greens.
The church for their ceremony was dressed with pew ends, foliage pole garlands at the entrance, window vessel arrangments, a foliage garland for the signing table, as well as candles in jars sat at the end of each pew.
For their reception, Bliain and Colin loved the idea of bud-vases on each table, sat on a woodslice. After their ceremony, I was able to move all the flowers to their reception to repurpose them. Each table has two bud vases and a candle sat on a wood slice. Burlap was placed under the woodslices for the rustic feel. Items such as the foliage runner was moved over to the reception, as well as the flower vases.
